Very cute yurt experience. Love that I could bring my dog. The hot tub was an amazing plus and the community kitchen is stocked to the brim with kitchen utensils and spices.

I thought it was expensive compared to what a state park yurt camp site would cost. I don’t know what the water temp in the hot tub was but it wasn’t very hot. I’m an aficionado of hot tubs/springs! What the owners are trying to do here is inspiring; it’s an intentional community with a family with kids on site. The common house kitchen facilities were nice. The property is huge and must be difficult to keep up; some of the landscaping needs attention. They are doing the best they can, it was nearly deserted. Only 2 other campers were there. The yurt was beautiful and an authentic design. The opening is very low (I’m 5’4” and hit my head several times coming in and out). So be careful! If you are looking for a forest retreat this is more of an urban/forest experience. This property is up a steep and narrow gravel road. Another car approached me as I left for a day trip and I had to back up quite a ways to let them through. There is a highway down the hill and my first night there I heard motorcycles and loud cars off and on all night. Someone who was at the property drove back and forth past the yurts 3 times on my first night; once at 10:30 pm, again at midnight and also at 5:45 a.m. and woke me each time. If there is a resident that has to go to work maybe they could park their car near the entrance of the property so they don’t disturb the campers? It’s stated several places on the property that quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. Craig & Kate were very nice.

Loved this stay . The prisim yurt was very comfortable and clean . They don’t have electricity . They have a fan , campaign ligjt, and propane heat. Bed was comfortable. Each yurt has a fire pit and a couple chairs at each spot . Outside showers were great, clean, and very hot water loved it . Composite toilets were different but always trying new things . lol . Didn’t make it to the hot tub sad about that next time . Really wellKept clean property I would stay again .
